PILMIVA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

On the 26th of November 2022, the first meeting of beneficiaries of Pilmiva Foundation took place under the initiation of one of them, Priscilla Atwiine (in black T-shirt with the word “Star”). Her intention was to start an association (tentatively named Association of Pilmiva Foundation Alumni APFA). APFA would consist of three categories of members:

  • iconThose who were still at school
  • iconThose who had finished school and were unemployed or looked for better opportunities
  • iconThose who had finished their education and were employed.

The aim of the association is to

  • iconTo get to know each other and to help each especially in terms of job opportunities for those who were still unemployed, internship opportunities for those at university or tertiary institutions, connections, opportunities for volunteering, scholarship opportunities, as well as sponsorship by some of the alumni who had the generosity and the means to do so.
  • iconTo find ways of giving back to the organization out of gratitude for the assistance attained, and to help the Foundation efforts to look for funding for the present beneficiaries,During that meeting, those who attended pledged to meet again and to find ways of consolidating further the organization and of incorporating others who had not attended on the that occasion.

The Foundation attains the vision through identifying, registration and caring for the education of a reasonable number of needy children in accordance with the available resources
